Yung’s unique blend of trap beats with samples from various retro styles including doo-wop and 1950s pop caught the attention of many music lovers but it was in 2010 when his debut single, “Karen”, was released in 2016 and quickly went viral. The song, which is a humorous take on entitled white women, struck a chord with listeners and helped to establish Yung Gravy as a rising star of the hip-hop community. He followed up with a string of successful singles, including “Mr. Clean” and “1 Thot 2 Thot Red Thot Blue Thot”, which further solidified his status as a force to be reckoned with in the industry already dominated by rap gods like Eminem and Pitbull.

In 2017, as mentioned above Yung Gravy released his debut mixtape, “Mr. Clean”, which featured collaborations with fellow hip-hop artists like Lil Baby and Chief Keef.
